旅と人生

　旅が人々を引きつけて止まないのは、旅が人生を凝縮したかたちで見せてくるからに他ならない。

　この同じ道を二度と再び通ることはあるまい。このひとときは、二度と再び巡ってくることはあるまい。旅は、こうした人生の真実を気づかせてくれる。

　旅の思い出は、人生の思い出そのものであり、だから甘く切ないのだ。
